Perancangan dan Implementasi Kitchen Assistant: Aplikasi Android Terintegrasi untuk Pengelolaan Resep, Bahan Belanja, dan Perencanaan Masak Harian

This study discusses the design and implementation of Kitchen Assistant, an Android application that functions as a digital kitchen assistant to help users manage recipes, compile automatic shopping lists, and plan daily cooking activities efficiently. This application was developed to address the needs of users who have difficulty managing ingredients and cooking time in today's fast-paced modern life. The development method was carried out through four main stages, namely literature study, interface design, implementation of main features, and functionality testing. The implementation results show that the application is capable of dynamically storing, displaying, and updating recipes, as well as generating automatic shopping lists based on the selected recipe ingredients. The interface is designed to be simple and intuitive, making it easy to use for users from all walks of life. Testing showed that the integration between modules runs stably without data duplication and improves user efficiency in meal planning. Compared to similar applications such as Cookpad and Tasty, Kitchen Assistant has the advantage of a shopping list automation feature that is not yet widely used in similar applications in Indonesia. This application is expected to be an innovative digital solution to support a modern lifestyle that is practical, efficient, and organized.
